The EagleHawk team was able to monitor classes, engage with professors, and tour multiple labs including the Construct, an “all-access makerspace.”
EagleHawk team members and UB alum Jacob Albright and Will Schulmeister piloted a small drone at the event held in the Center for the Arts atrium that dropped confetti over the crowd to celebrate the new “Take Flight” campaign.
The symposium gives the UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) community a chance to network with UAS industry leaders and colleagues from around the globe to form new connections and discuss the key issues facing the UAS industry.

Fair attendees who visited EagleHawk’s exhibit flew miniature drones and experienced an “EagleHawk” point-of-view via a virtual reality headset that controlled a camera mounted to a large drone flying over the fairgrounds.
EagleHawk recently added three team members for the roles of Chief Financial Officer, Marketing Manager and Sales Manager.
EagleHawk was one of 25 drone industry companies that participated in the third annual “Drones Over Downtown” event in Syracuse, NY on August 6.
EagleHawk worked with Hydroplane Racing League (HRL) for the second straight year on August 3 and 4 at the annual Thunder on the Niagara in North Tonawanda, NY as the official drone services provider for the high-speed boat racing event.
