EagleHawk Serves as Drone Services Provider for HydroFest in Detroit
EagleHawk worked with Hydroplane Racing League for the second time this year on August 24th and 25th at the annual HydroFest in Detroit, MI as the official drone services provider for the high-speed boat racing event on the Detroit River.
HydroFest attracts the world’s fastest hydroplane boats that compete on a 1.25 mile race track in the Detroit River. The EagleHawk team used multiple drones and high-definition cameras to support the HRL judges by providing live video feeds over the race course which helped judges to identify lane infractions, catch false starts, review instant replays, and served as an emergency eye in the sky.
“EagleHawk is proud to work with and support the Hydroplane Racing League,” said EagleHawk COO Will Schulmeister.
“We’re happy our services can offer an extra layer of technology, accuracy and excitement to an already electrifying event.”
EagleHawk worked with HRL earlier this year on August 3rd and 4th for the Thunder on the Niagara event.
